t DIA, we believe global collaboration is essential for advancing biomedical science and derisking medical product development by promoting innovation and providing a forum for multistakeholder discussions. Now more than ever, the world faces complex health challenges that require a united effort across nations, organizations, and disciplines.

The work of the World Health Organization (WHO) is instrumental in fostering scientific exchange, strengthening regulatory frameworks, and improving access to safe and effective treatments worldwide. We are proud to have worked closely with the WHO, as well as all HHS agencies, including the FDA, NIH, CDC, and CMS, over our 60-year history as a nonprofit global association and a neutral convener. We remain steadfast in our commitment to transparent and open communication and to support efforts that bring together all stakeholders—regulators, industry leaders, researchers, and patient advocates—to address pressing global health needs.

Many nonprofit organizations rely on government support and funding to sustain critical health initiatives. We greatly appreciate the philanthropic efforts emerging around the world to help fill gaps, ensuring continuity of care for vulnerable populations and communities, advancing scientific progress, and strengthening global health systems. These collaborative efforts reinforce the power of partnership in overcoming today’s challenges and building a healthier future.

As a nonprofit and neutral convener, DIA provides a platform for dialogue and collaboration, ensuring that industry and academic scientific research, nonprofit advocacy, regulatory communities, and payers can work together to accelerate progress that benefits patients everywhere. We believe in the importance of sharing scientific knowledge based on evidence, integrity, and the pursuit of truth, and we will continue to advocate for the unrestricted exchange of information to support informed decision-making and public well-being.

In this moment of rapid change, we reaffirm our dedication to advancing knowledge, sharing expertise, and fostering partnerships that improve health outcomes worldwide.
